Birthing of a new Ministry

Last year, We officially endorsed 32 mothers to a local Church. Praise God! They are now growing and actively involved in the Church. After that, the Lord showed Gina a new vision for the moms at slum this year. She felt led by God to start something new and focus to the teenage moms aging 15-25 years old. January 20,2009 Teenage Moms Bible Study was officially started, with 5 moms. Since then they meet 4 times already. They are eager to study the Word of God. Right now new members are coming and there are 12 moms in the B.S. Praise God!

Manny's Testimony

Manny is the eldest of 11 children in the family. At the age of 16, He had many questions about his existence. He therefore, ran away from home and learned about alcohol and drug abuse from his new ghastly friends. In 1986 Manny met the One and only Answer to his problems and emptiness; he repented and accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior. Manny had gotten a huge chance to share his testimony with others. Also, he felt a call to a full-time Christian work, therefore, had completed various courses equipping him for service, including, a Bachelor of Theology and Pastored a Church before he joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM ) until now for the glory of God.

Gina's Awakening

Gina was borne in Cebu and came from a dysfunctional family. Her father left them at her young age, so her mother brought her to the Christian Orphanage where she early learned about God’s love. But she had unanswered questions about her childhood, she longed to experience true love and acceptance from her own parents. This cause her to run away from the orphanage at the age 14 and board on a ship to Manila. Due to her dillema, she ran away from God and felt pitty to herself, thought that God did not love her. But after five years she recommitted her life to God. And felt God's calling in her life as a Missionary. Gina felt compassion to the lost souls and felt God’s call to reach out others, especially those mothers and children who came from dysfuntional families. In 1991 she took a Discipleship Training School (DTS) and joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) until now for the glory of God.

Manny and Gina's Highlights

Manny and Gina both completed a Discipleship Training School (DTS) of Youth With A Mission (YWAM) in 1991. This was where they met each other for the first time. After the wedding, they joined YWAM as permanent and long term staff until now. They committed two years at YWAM Surigao, training young people from 12 to 15 churches through creative arts and discipleship. In 1996, they had taken a school of Principles in Child and Youth Ministries (YWAM-PCYM). For three years God brought them to YWAM Balut. Ministered to the young people who lived from Smokey Mountain. Involved with Student Sponsorship Program. It wasn’t only ending the poor and needy youth to schools but conducted evangelism and discipleship. At the end of their commitment God moved them to YWAM Baguio for almost four years. They served students from different Churches through Discipleship Training School and worked at Nehemiah Orphanage House as well. In 2001 God opened door for them to take a school of Event Management and Performing Arts (EMPAS) in Australia and outreached to Africa then came back to Baguio. The following year they felt led by God to take a Leadership Training School (YWAM-LTS) in Pune, India. With this, they learned higher level of leading and caring people and ministries. During the 3-month lecture phase God had revealed to them to pioneer a YWAM Base, they shared the entire vision to their leaders. After much prayers and discussions the leaders released and commissioned them to a new location with four new staff that joined them, dated on February 7, 2003. From that day till now, God has performed countless of miracles. They committed themselves long term here. Right now they lead the YWAM Dagupan Base. To God be the glory.

Kids Corner

Deborah May P. Wabe
Demie was borne on May 20, 1993. She is now 15-year-old and a high school student. In college, she is praying to take medicine. She dreams to become a Missionary-Doctor in God's Kingdom in the future. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.

Joshua Isaiah P. Wabe
Josiah was borne on June 14, 2006. He just turned 29 months last week. He is growing a lot. He loves to run fast and climb up without fear. He started talking with few words . He loves to drink milk a lot. He is very healthy. He knows how to pray by laying his hands on others. He is a joy to our family especially to his big sister.

We thank God so much for giving us two children. They are our heritage.

Dagupan Center - Ministries

MISSIONS AND PURPOSES OF OUR CENTER

· Church Mobilization into Mission:
A ministry that mobilizes the Body of Christ and participates with ministerial fellowship at Dagupan and Pangasinan. Conducts short term training courses with Mission emphasis coupled with mobile intercessory prayers. Engages in the Great Commission and become global ministers.

· Mission Explosion Training:
A 15-day training comprises of 8 days lecture and 7 days field assignment. Teaching topics with mission and global perspectives. Participants are coming from different Churches to help discover their God-given talents and release them to their specific callings. Every perfect gift comes from God.

.Campus Ministry:
A University that thousands of young people from dissimilar towns and cities of Pangasinan and Northern Luzon Region. Campus is an open field to champion novice youth believer for leadership training. Ministry opportunity includes friendship evangelism, tract distribution, film showing, counselling, one-on-one discipleship and seminar. Reaching young learners of today to become potential leaders of tomorrow.

· Urban Poor:
Reaching the poor and needy adults, youth and children from slum areas through evangelism, literacy program, feeding, and regular Bible studies. Helping them discover their identities and values in Christ in spite of their lowly backgrounds. They are God's workmanship.

.Ebenezer Malnourished Children Program:
Helping malnourished children from various slum areas. Seeing them restored physically, emotionally and spiritually. Cooking and feeding food in a weekly basis for the malnourished kids to gain a normal weight and proper physical health. Praying that God's healing pours upon them.

· Badjao Tribe:
Like the other indigeneous peoples in the Philippines, Badjao is one of the most neglected and abandoned minorities. They moved from one place to another for survival. A demonstration of Jesus' all-out love and friendship to this unique transient Muslim tribe in the city. They are most rejected but we have come to accept, feed and clothe them by God's amazing grace.

· Gideon Student Sponsorship Program:
A program that sponsors students beginning pre-school to college level from poorest communities. Education is an answer to their dreams. Part of our goal is to promulgate Jesus's Love to all students and immediate family members. Presently, there are 7 students at grade 5, 2 students at grade 4 and 1 student at grade 3 level. The total is 10 students. Every year, We are trusting God to meet the students' financial needs to cover the tuition fees, uniforms, shoes and other school supplies. And, We saw God's faithfulness. Praying to see more miracles next school year and years to come.

· Health Care:
Blessing the needy community by showing Jesus' love, care and hope. Demonstrating the true love by cleaning wounds and giving medicines in a daily and weekly basis. This is a visible and tangible deeds to reflect God's compassionate heart. John 13:15. Keep us in your prayers to have more medicines to give to the sick people and other medical supplies.

. Creative Arts Discipleship International Ministries.
CADIM is a ministry that will share the gospel message through preaching, teaching, testimony, music, drama, mimes, skits, dances, tambourine and any other innovative expression anywhere in the Philippines and overseas once in a year. Praying and believing that many would come to know and accept our Lord Jesus and become true worshippers.

.Base Pioneering:
It is our call and mandate to open a base in a certain location which YWAM does not exist yet and release leaders who are called to pioneer. Isaiah 54:1-3.

.Adopting UPG:
Adopting Unreached People Groups of Philippine Archipelago and neighboring nations through prayers, finances and frontier Missionaries. Why call them Unreached? No access to the following... No indigenous Church, no Bible, no focused prayer, no Christian neighbors, no discipleship literature, no Gospel broadcast and no Jesus' film. Matthew 24:14 & Revelation 7:9.

· Administration:
Communications, accounting, kitchen, maintenance, hospitality, housekeeping, transportation, and team hosting.
